sure these are big and clunky -- you'll need some thick socks, and if you have wide calves, the tops of these are going to pinch! But, just roll the tops down and be prepared to move anyway. these boots will take you through ALL of it: mud, water, snow, slush etc. these are a solid purchase that will last for years!
