I am at the age where I cannot vacuum or mop. My grandson set it up, since I did not know how to do it! I did have to purchase a smart phone to use it. I love this vacuum because it does a good job vacuuming and not a bad job mopping. It actually cleans and mops at the same time. It does not recommend cleaner and only uses water, but it is fine for in-between mop jobs with my bucket and rag mop with cleaner. You do have to remove and clean the mop pad each time and watch the dust box to dump it when full. It picks up lots of dirt and it stays charged long enough to do all my downstairs floors without carpet. I have only used it on my bedroom carpets one time, so I can't remember how long it stayed charged for all the floors. You do have to lift cords and move some furniture out of the way before beginning. Sometimes it gets stuck and you have to rescue it, but only twice, once under the back of a rocking chair and once in my back porch under a clothes rack. But over all I love it.

I've always wanted to try one of these so went for a lower priced one to see what I thought. Goes over some challenging thresholds easily and gently goes around edges. Ran for two hours the first time and redocked with still 70% battery left. Easy to set up for a vintage-aged grandma. 😉
