I needed a good quality USB Webcam for producing podcasts, after some research this hit the sweet spot of quality, features and price. The flexibility allows me to integrate it into my daily workflow and personal communications. As with any camera it is helpful to have proper lighting, background and distance. The Brio 500 has the adaptability and software package to accomidate less than ideal lighting and still present an more than acceptable image. Easy to install and setup.

Originally tried the Brio 100 which was nice but had poor FOV. The Brio 500 is a huge step up albiet alot more expensive. Solid camera for work meetings and zoom.

Huge Video Upgrade

I did some research before buying this webcam and I'm very satisfied with my choice. Video quality is a huge upgrade from my laptop's built-in camera with much better performance in all lighting conditions, especially low light. the wide angle lens is cool, which prevents my video from looking like I'm sitting so close (I am). while the Brio's full HD video looks great, 720 still makes my video quality the highest in any given meeting and saves a little bandwidth. Mixed review on the built-in mic, but I don't care, because my regular mic and Google Meet's filters already work great. (I'm told by my colleagues that the Brio mic sounds muffled and less clear.) Bonus points for eco-friendly packaging, mostly paper and cardboard, which was easy to unbox.
