Transformers Toys Studio Series The Transformers: The Movie Shockwave Action Figure, 8+

I picked this figure up just to fill out the collection. I never owned a version of this mold and the alt mode did not appeal to me. However, once I had it in hand, it changed my mind. The plastic feels great. The joints are tight. movement is smooth and transformation is very easy. The alt mode is also growing on me. That spaceship really does fly upside down very well :)

This is mostly remade from a 7 year old toy, as it is not in scale with recent Studio Series 86 Shockwave and Megatron This feels like it was only released to work with the 5 new Combaticons from a separate line Hasbro will likely make another Shockwave that's better in scale in a few years
