Sturdy, attractive set

I was searching for dinnerware for months before I came across this set. I wanted something simple, modern, durable for a family, and resistant to silverware marks. I did not realize that most of the sets I was looking at before (and what I owned previously) were ceramic which are known to show silverware marks. Once I started searching for porcelain, Gibson showed up and caught my eye. There are some inconsistencies in the dishes themselves (some plates have a thicker lip than others), but for the price I am happy.
