So far this leash is great. The leash tape is just thick enough that it's not going to fold and cause it to jam up. It's strong but not too much for my 15 pound Buddy who is stronger than he looks. The housing is smooth all over which is important since I have 2 leashes and the tape from the 2nd one can't catch on anything. I found this a problem when using another retractable leash with the light on the top like scope, the leash tape would catch around the light housing and could be difficult to get undone The light is great and brighter than others. I can go without having to hold an additional flashlight. It's very comfortable to hold too. The brake is very different from others I've had and works wonderfully. I highly recommend it!

I have a 60lb Bernedoodle puppy that chews . I paid $35 on a retractable dog leash presumably made for dogs larger than mine the as ertised it is "CHEW PROOF" .. It didn't even last 1 week before he chewed through it.
