Excellent shorts, the elastic waist is perfect. Only recommendation to fellow shoppers, dry these on extra low. They do not shrink, however the composition of the fabric and design makes the leg opening and pockets fold and wrinkle permanently if dried on high.

I bought a size larger than I normally wear because noted most Lee brand shorts and jeans are normally smaller . But, these shorts are fine even though my ego is bruised a little because of having to get the larger size. Come on ladies , you know what I am talking about!!!
