Disappointing and Full of Issues
I purchased the Roomba Combo 105 with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating from the start. The robot is quite clumsy—it constantly crashes hard into the legs of tables and chairs, as if it doesn't properly detect obstacles. The mapping feature is another major issue. Instead of using the layout of the walls, it relies on furniture placement. This means that if you move a chair or a sofa, you have to recreate the entire map from scratch. On top of that, you can't scan a single room—you're forced to scan the entire floor and then manually re-edit each room, which is time-consuming and impractical. The app is unstable and frequently shows error messages like "Roomba requires your attention" without clear explanations. When I updated to the latest version of the app, the robot didn't update properly and I had to remove and re-pair it, losing all previous work. To make things worse, it doesn't keep a consistent log of cleaning jobs, and I have no idea why. The dustbin is extremely small, and so is the water tank. I have to empty and refill both at least twice per cleaning. The main roller gets tangled with hair easily, and the side brushes can't be cleaned using the provided cutting tool. Also, the mop pad is supposedly limited to just 30 uses, which is ridiculous. I had to reset the robot just to remove the error that stopped it from working, even though the pad was still in good condition. Finally, today the robot decided not to connect to Wi-Fi anymore. No matter how many times I reset it, it wouldn't reconnect. That was the last straw—I've decided to return it. I cannot recommend this model. It has too many limitations, frequent technical issues, and it simply doesn't live up to the promise of making home cleaning easier.
