Dickies Women's 4 Pack HYDRO-COOL™ Wide Calf Crew Socks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical of these socks because they said they are “hydro cool” and moisture wicking. Now I have feet that run very hot and sweaty in summer. It's a problem and I did get athletes foot a few times because of it. But I decided to put these socks to the ultimate test. I wore them on a 5 mile hike in summer in 85F heat during the afternoon. The socks were comfortable. My feet did get warm but I don't think they were at hot and swollen as they could have been. After the hike, I took these socks off in the car and my feet were pink but not red, not swollen, and not as sweaty as they are after coming home from work in my Lemon Collection or Adidas socks. I'm impressed and I can't wait to wear them on long haul flight and in winter boots. They'll be perfect. The photo of the single pair is how they look after being washed multiple times in a machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are great socks. I've only been wearing them in the late Spring and Summer, but they keep my feet cool and dry. I also like that there seems to be substantial padding in the toe and heel area. I am prone to blisters, and these help protect my feet. I also like that they feel supportive and don't slip off my feet during activities. The sizing seems right on as well.
