I love this rug, so much I have gotten 2 more. They are not a traditional rug....They are very thin, with a rubber backing so they do not slip. Being low profile is great for older folks to prevent tripping. They are also super soft....I lobe walking on them, especially barefoot. They are also machine washable....The larger sizes hyou would have tyop use a large commercial washer at a laundrymat, but still, it makes it easy to deep clean them. Perfect for every room of your house!
