These super-cheap phones are a delight by comparison, with their digital station selection and crystal clear sound. As promised in the ad this FM headset gets better reception because of it's extending antenna. The other one I have will waver and lose the signal when I turn my head (which is a very bad thing when the tune is working!) Rather than a rechargeable battery I got the 2 AA battery type because I want to be able to keep listening and not have to wait an hour for the charging battery. This is a lightweight headset that folds into a much smaller format and has all the tuning and volume on the right-side ear piece. After a little practice my sense of touch is enough to navigate the various buttons, although tuning is better done not wearing the headset, to see the station's frequency for those weaker stations.
