This is a great two seater chair %26 umbrella that definitely does attach to the seats. there's 2 slots, right behind the cooler area there's a slot the umbrella slides in to %26 a bottom slot %26 little platform where it sits nice %26 snug %26 very secure. Im getting another one for my Son %26 daughter in law for Christmas. I have mine in the back yard %26 I'm taking it to the park %26 lake. it fits best for ppl under 200lbs bc that's about how wide the seats are. I love it!! there's a cooler %26 pockets to keep your belongings secure. My Chihuahua chills on top of the cooler, so he has a seat too, in that case it's a 3 seater! ! it's so awesome!

I absolutely love it. It's definitely worth the money however, if you don't like to carry something heavy, you might prefer to have both of the chairs separated. It is on the a little bit heavy side for like some people now my Son and any male in my family, carries it with no problem.
