This is the best of the bunch of post surgical shirts I tried from WalMart and Amazon. The little Velcro type closures are easy for me and my husband to close. Also those little closures line up well and go to the edges around the sleeves and neck (other brands I tried didn't). The small Velcro closures are gentle in terms of weight pressing against the surgical area at my shoulders. My doc's office found the closures easy to manipulate when they removed the stitches. It also looks decent enough to wear in public (some of the others I tried didn't measure up here either). I ordered another one to see me through recovery and physical therapy. The shirt is actually comfortable enough that I'll eventually use it as a night shirt-can't beat the price compared to pajama tops! Wish it came in mint green.

This is the second one I bought in this style, different color. It looks decent, which is important after surgery, easy to get it on and off, and the medical professionals find it easy to be able to access my shoulder as it is recovering from surgery. The Velcro tabs line up decently and are close to the edges too, so modesty is preserved, which wasn't true of some of the other shirts I tried. It's comfortable enough that I'll be able to use it as a night shirt after recovery.
