The Your Zone Soft, Oversized Teal Throw Blanket for Kids, 72 x 50 is not wider than a normal size throw but is longer. Its a beautiful color and so very soft and since its long it will cover even taller peoples feet which is a huge plus. I would suggest when washing to wash in cold water and dry on low or no heat to keep it from matting. You can see in my pictures after washing it with other like color blankets (none were fuzzy) and then drying them on high heat it did get matted. It still feels super soft but doesnt look quite as pretty,

This fleece throw is surprisingly soft – even softer than blankets I've paid $20 for. Keeps me warm on chilly evenings without being too heavy. The blue color is pretty too. Highly recommend!
