The only thing that has been a little bit of a nuisance is that you must take down the camera and fully charge it before hooking it up to a solar panel for constant charge. I did not ensure the battery was charged to 100% prior to plugging in the solar panel. And after maybe 2 weeks it has completely depleted the battery. However, I am pretty confident that once I do this step. I will not be disappointed! I should see it stay charged for a much longer period of time. Also, without a solar panel and keeping it going non- stop you will get maybe 3 weeks of battery life before you will need to take it down and charge it again to 100%. Definitely a good deal.

Have had Arlo system for years with the original battery cameras that use expensive batteries. Like recharging ability of this camera. If you want use more than 5 cameras ARLO can be expensive but if you use 5 or less it is free, perhaps with some limitations but we are happy with it.

Easy install and user friendly app. I wish you could tailor your notifications to just one specific thing, i.e. people, rather everything being sent. I want everything recorded, just don't need to be notified every time a car passes my house. So far the battery is good, I like that you can turn off the system, for Thanksgiving Day that was helpful because we had people coming in and out of our house all day and rather than it going off constantly, you can simply deactivate your system from the app and reactivate it once people were gone for the day.
