it's a good size for a small carry-on. it has a sleeve to attach the carry on to your larger suitcase and it does have different compartments to store things inside the carry on.. the small outer compartment is large enough to store your passport and airline ticket easily enough to grab when needed to show when requested. it isn't as light as stated.
