Great tool!

I bought this recently to trim 11 x 17 posters. It did it perfectly. The thin wire guide is much more useful than I imagined. Perfect alignment. The pullout arm is a little intimidating to extend at first - as one reviewer said it does feel like it will break - but it didn't. Much better than the guillotine trimmers I used to use constantly, that never quite lined up square. A really good tool.

Works perfectly - less effort

This Fiskars cutter makes cutting large numbers of VBS materials that have straight edges a breeze. Did several hundres wallet size Bible verse cards in less than half the time, with no sore hand by the time I finished. See through design makes it easy to put the wire cutter right where I want it. Most professional looking set of verse cards I've ever made.

Fisker paper trimmer

This is just the paper trimmer I was looking for. The 6 inch base is perfect for most of the trimming I do but it extends to 15 inches. There is a wire to show exactly where you are cutting. I am glad I purchased and would buy again.
