Took a little bit of effort to hook it up to the cloud. I failed the first attempt so I moved it 4 feet and I was able to have it access the cloud. The first time I used it, it wasn't accessing the cloud, but you can use it by just pressing the power button and carrying it to the room you want to be vacuumed. However, now that it is using the cloud, it made a map of the entire house which I could modify for my own reasons (add room dividers, rename, etc). Now, I tell it to vacuum specific rooms, and it goes and does that. It hasn't gotten stuck underneath any furniture. However, it did get a little stuck going over the pipe that makes up the ironing board feet. So, I put the ironing board away. I was worried about a fringed rug, but it seems to be working with it.

I have had Roombas for a long time now. Starting off with 960, then S9+, BravaJet, then J9+ to finally 705. All of my roombas still work, and modular design and ease of maintenance has gone a long way in making sure of that. The 705 is quite an improvement over older versions. The mapping and navigation is vastly improved, it's much quieter in operation and the suction is finally better than S9 which is absolutely a beast. It can complete cleaning jobs much faster and in more efficient manner. The app takes a bit of getting used to, hopefully will be refined further going forward. But the way it automatically signed in and quickly has the Roomba up and running was pretty great.
