A real time (and back) saver!

I like that it is programmable so I don't have to remember to use it. I can set it to run at night so it is not disruptive. The only problem with running it at night is that it is pretty noisy and it wakes me up. So I have set it to only run in rooms away from the back of the house during the nighttime runs. I do have to say that the battery doesn't last as long as I think it should. I have a small home, and it runs out of battery about 3/4 of the way through when doing the whole house, and then I have to remind it to restart after it charges. Overall, though, I'm happy with this. It cleans really well--better than my regular vacuum. And, the big plus is that it goes under the beds where I have trouble reaching. It's easy to clean out the dust bin. It does take quite some time to clean, but it does a thorough job. It vacuums on the wood floors and uses the brush automatically on the carpets.

I have been using my new iRobot Roomba Model 105 since early November 2025 and I love it. I had an old model (860) for approximately 7 years and this new model is way more advanced. My Roomba doesn’t clean my 1200 sq ft house in 1 charge, but, it recharges itself on the dock and resumes. I hope that I get years of cleaning from %232.

Maintaining a Roomba for years!

Purchased a Roomba in 2012 that still is a great device. Purchased this Roomba for a condo with out carpet or pets. It is quieter than the 2012 Roomba, however; filters are not nearly the same quality. The most important task is always cleaning and maintaining your Roomba after EACH use. This provides better power and efficiency for years to come. I rinse the collection containers, filters etc and let them air dry. I remove hair and string that wraps around the spinner and brushes. Preventative Maintenance is mandatory!
