Great for seniors being cared for as well

Using these for my mother when I'm not near her room so if she needs me, I'll be able to hear her calling my name. Easy set up, no wifi needed. Works well, pretty good price and really does help.

Panic purchase that is worth the price

I panic bought this monitor as our video monitor was having audio and video problems. I was not sleeping for fear of the video monitor freezing up. This monitor has been a lifesaver. The night after we bought it the power went out for 2.5 hours. We have a battery backup for our kiddo's medical equipment, and we had an extra outlet to plug in the child monitor. We could still hear him during the power outage. The video monitor was not functional without power. I love this monitor and love that it has allowed me to sleep without worrying about the video monitor freezing up. The sound is clear and nice and loud. The battery lasted through the power outage. I just wish there was a second parent monitor to not have to take it between the bedroom and living room. Definitely worth the price monitor. Sometimes an old school no bells and whistles monitor is the best thing to have. It outperforms our video monitor every time.

simple but so effective without wifi

this vtech baby monitor without wifi is great for keeping track of my baby while chasing after my toddler! it says it has a 1k foot range, but I haven't had the chance to test that particular range. I use it in about a 500sq ft radius and it works great, even when I'm outdoors or in the garage
