I brought home a new puppy who is quickly outgrowing his small kennel and I needed something bigger that he could easily walk in and out of. The price was amazing (I paid way more for a smaller one from PetSmart) and the top door is a nice touch. I'm not sure I'll ever need it but I can see it being good for people with cats. It was easy to put together and the twist knob for opening it seems easier to use than the pinching way most other plastic kennels have.

Carrier requires minimal assembly BUT arrives with NO assembly instructions; parts list, yes, but no instructions - not even picture instructions! For those, you need a smart phone to scan the QR code. HOWEVER the QR code on the hangtag are for a previous/ different model so don't apply. Correct QR code instructions were on a sticker on one of the doors. Once assembled, carrier is good sized for cat or small dog. Fairly well-designed, with 2 spring-loaded (top and front) door openings. Weak spot is the carry handle which isn't sturdy, will not stay in place, and appears subject to breakage. Also the handle is thin so is not comfortable to carry if your pet weighs more than 7-8 pounds. Except for handle, good carrier for the price: big enough that pet can stand or sit, 2 doors for easy loading, either door can be opened one-handed, easy assembly (with correct instructions). Solid 4-star carrier.
