Easy and tasty lasagne

I used to make lasagne from scratch, but it’s a lot of work, and I am terminally ill now, so can’t really cook much. Recently my neighbor passed away (Hey! Ain’t none of us getting outta this thing alive) Anyway, I figured anyone can pop a Stouffer’s lasagne in the oven. I was right! Very simple. So easy. Took it next door to his family and they loved it. They asked if I could make them another one. What?, Did they think I made it from scratch? Hey! One pan of lasagne is enough. Time for them to go online and get their own Walmart delivery.

This is one of the better freezer dinners when you need something easy that still feels like actual food. Good flavor, decent portion size, and it hits the comfort food category without much effort. Not homemade, obviously, but it does not need to be.

Won’t buy anymore

I have been buying this lasagna for over 20 years. It is a nice dinner for winter as cooked from frozen it takes over an hour. The last few times I purchased this, I have noticed the quality slowly slipping away…the noodles are like rubber, the sauce is lacking something..kinda sweet, and the cheese is only on the top, it used to be in between the noodles, but no more. I don’t think I will bother buying it anymore as the price is so high now, and for the quality slipping I might as well make my own. Sorry Stouffers.
