Vitamix Ascent X2 Blender, 48 Oz Container, Nano Gray

Having purchased my Ascent X2 several weeks ago, I find that I am using it nearly every day. I wanted to make healthy superfood smoothies, and this unit performs superbly. One of my favourite smoothies includes kale, frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries, along with a base of milk, Greek yoghurt, nut butter, seeds and ice cubes. The Ascent powers through all ingredients, delivering a silky consistency and no chunks. I appreciate the self-cleaning feature for daily use, although I do a handwashing once in a while. My Vitamix gives me the confidence that I can experiment with new recipes and be assured of powerful performance that ultimately makes my diet more nutrient-dense. Count me as a satisfied customer!

Amazing blender! Flawless in every way except the “smoothie” setting doesn't always get my dates and spinach. For a smooth consistency I have to blend a second time or use the “ice cream/ soup” setting which blends at a higher speed. It'd be nice to set it to “smoothie” and truly walk away, but once you learn your way around how you prepare your items and recipes then you get consistent results every time. So easy to clean, too! Love the simplicity and power of this machine.
