Great Humidifier

I believe this is the one of the most energy efficient, lowest maintenance humidifiers that you can find at this price point. It is an extremely simple device yet quite effective. This is an evaporative humidifier so it uses a wick (“filter”) to capture water and blow it into the air without producing visible mist. This needs to be replaced at regular intervals (depends on your region, usage, and maintenance). Unlike ultrasonic (“filter free”) humidifiers, this produces no white dust from the mineral content of the water, which is great in Arizona where the mineral content in the water is extremely high. When I used an ultrasonic humidifier my room was coated in dust within a couple days with light use. With this humidifier you can fill it with your tap water and have no dust produced because it is all caught in the filter. Huge advantage. It is an effective device that brings the humidity up quickly without the annoying side effects of other types of humidifiers

My experience so far.

I really like this model. It takes up less space. It is easy to use. I like that it is easy to refill with water. I'm waiting to see how it works when the outside temps go down. By that I mean will I have to refill the water holder more often. I need to know how often the filter needs replacement.

Run don't walk, you need this

I was getting very frustrated with how difficult it is to keep up with the complicated cleaning of the typical humidifiers and very concerned about getting sick because I couldn't keep up with the cleaning. Enter this product! I've only had it on for a half an hour and it already increased the humidity in my home by 10%. That's incredible. It is much quieter than you think, it's got a good size tank, I love the fact it has a UV light and the only regular maintenance on it will be flipping the filter at night and filling up the tank as needed. The tank and the base can go in my dishwasher for a weekly deep clean! I can't tell you how happy I am.
