Well made

Works great with Pennington suet block for woodpeckers. All the birds love it! This basket appears to have a good latching system on it. The raccoons managed to tear the cover off our old one so we twist tied it on and the raccoons carried the whole basket away!!! That's why we bought this one for a replacement. We greased the shepherds hook with Vaseline and Vick's Vapor Rub to deter the raccoons from going after the suet, and so far so good.

super affordable handy little suet cages.

these are handy little suet cake holders. the birds have no problem with them. They stand up pretty well to squirrel abuse. LOL. They do not stand up to trash panda abuse. For the money though you really can't go wrong. I've got about six of these hanging around in my bird feeding area. Even if you don't have a lot of money these are definitely affordable.
