Okay, I own way too many lipsticks, so when I say this is one of my favorites, I really mean it! This shade is absolutely gorgeous and goes well with many outfits. I've had people actually stop me and ask what lipstick I'm wearing, and even a few friends have gone out and bought the same shade after seeing it on me! It glides on really easily and dries up pretty fast, which is a big plus for me. There is a slight chemical smell when you first apply it but honestly, it's not bad at all and doesn't bother me. It's definitely not something that would keep me from buying or wearing it. The photos show the process: before, freshly applied, dried down, and with the gloss topper. Personally, I prefer it without the gloss because I like a matte finish and don't love the feeling of shiny or wet lips sometimes. That's just my preference though, the gloss still looks very pretty and does not feel sticky! As for wear time, this stuff is impressive. I put it on in the morning, let it try completely, and it stays put through meals, drinks, and an entire day of talking. Does it transfer a little? Of course. Any lipstick will transfer some when food, drinks, or oils are involved. But compared to most lipsticks I've tried, this one holds up incredibly well. I've even had days where they're still color left the next morning, and I almost feel bad taking it off because it still looks so good! If you're looking for a long lasting lipstick in a beautiful plum shade, this one is definitely worth trying.
