I really like this immersion blender! It has three speeds. The first speed is very smooth and gentle, so flour doesn't fly all over the kitchen when mixing. The third speed is powerful enough to make smooth mashed potatoes. The whisk is a great size, and all the attachments feel strong and well made. It's also surprisingly quiet and very comfortable to use. It is a little heavier than I expected, but I think the quality is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
