this item is very high quality. I especially live the metal pencil frames, and the different gauges of lead, and the ease with which you can make the lead look darker or lighter with just slight change of pressure without changing the thickness of the lines. I purchased this item for my husband as a gift for sketching tattoo designs, and he has highly enjoyed the use of these pencils. the case is sturdy, and quite a high quality, it really helps to keep all the pieces of the set somewhere my man can find the pencils and lead refills. I would recommend this product to any artist, and it really makes a great gift!
