Tedious work but well worth it.

It takes two people to put it together no doubt. It was a struggle putting the top assembly on especially when your help is 4”11. lol it takes around 4 hours because there are 100s of little nuts and bolts to put together but is well worth it in the end. I have three parrots that love it.

Nice quality aviary upgrade, very happy!

My Blue %26 Gold Macaw hated her previous aviary-this is her second one. I'm impressed with the panels not being cheap grid sheets simply slid into grid tracks. The grids are not the sharp aluminum ones, either. The panels are not only heavier, and sturdier than others; they are also welded so, no flimsness when being moved and used. Like others mentioned, I too, called the number to ask about assembly, and got the "mailbox is full" message. However, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I will put my two-cents in here, as to my assembly experience. First step listed in the directions, aside from counting all parts, is to install the feet. And although, it seems like the most convenient time in which to put them on; I don't advise it. The feet only go at the bottom of the straight panels, NOT the the rounded corners. So, installing them at this point only accomplishes, throwing off your hole alignments. Since the straight panels will be higher than your corners. Second, the assembly is done in 3 sections. Bottom is assembled. Top frame is assembled. Middle section is assembled onto the top frame supports. Then the top and attached middle section are then lifted and placed onto the bottom. It sounds complicated, but it really is straight foward. I'm 5'2 and was able to do all but the middle panels-arms too short-and of course, moving the top into place. It only took about 5 hours to complete. Not bad, considering there are over 100 screws that have to be put into place, and adjusted as you square it up. I also like that the locks are spring-loaded barrel locks that she can not reach. It is much bigger than I expected. And will give she and I plenty of space for playtime.
