I bought to change vibe in the kitchen which is now green w/ green striped window treatment. My appliances and 2 chair cushions are black, so the black and white buffalo plaid will work perfectly. Just waiting for completion of professional window washing to hang the curtains and valances.

I purchased these in the burgundy color for my kitchen windows and to cover a sliding glass door in my breakfast nook. The color is between what I would call a burgundy and a brick red. (online it looks much more like a Christmas red, but that may be my monitor.) Out of the package, I popped them in the dryer with a damp towel for about 15 min to remove the wrinkles, hung them while warm and they smoothed out beautifully. The fabric is nice, a good weight. It cuts the sunlight by about 50%. Don't expect them to block it out. I'd recommend them for traditional,country or cabin decor. Really happy with them and everyone seems to think they look great.
