The material of this bicycle cover is THICK. Very high quality, tightly knitted, mesh, material. NOTHING is getting through this bicycle cover. I just bought an $1800 EBike and need to make sure it's taken care of if outside. I HIGHLY recommend this cover because you get EXACTLY what you are hoping for. It's not a tarp material it's an actual textured material. It also comes in a little pull string bag as well for storage. THANK YOU!!! Comes with Locking holes on front and clamps on back. The size is GREAT. Design, fantastic. And I believe it'll protect from the sun even being black. This would cool you down in the shade if used as a tarp canapy.

This is a quality cover and it is waterproof. We had a heavy rain last night and there was minor wetness but it was from moisture in the air so no issue. It is for two bikes so it is a little large for one bike but I bought it because someone is also getting an e-bike. I still recommend it for one bike.
