Beautiful Vintage Teapot, Average Heat Retention

I bought this teapot mainly because of how pretty it looked, and it did not disappoint. It looks exactly like the pictures and has a beautiful vintage floral design that gives a classic old-world Chinese kitchen aesthetic. It has become a lovely addition to my countertop. The 1000ml size comfortably holds about 4 cups of tea, which is perfect for serving family or guests. The infuser also works well for loose-leaf tea. My only disappointment was the heat retention. The tea stayed at roughly the same hot temperature for about an hour, but I expected it to stay hot for at least half a day since it's advertised as insulated. After around 3 hours, the tea had cooled down noticeably. Overall, it's a beautiful and functional teapot, especially if appearance is important to you, but don't expect all-day heat retention.
