Rocky Outback GORE-TEX® Waterproof Hiker Boot

Bought these for my boyfriends birthday and they are absolutely his favorite pair of shoes! They keep his feet warm & dry and look great doing it! Gun_Girl_Jen

My wife purchased these boots for me as a birthday present, when I turned 26 years old. I specifically asked for them. This December I turn 51 years old. Yes folks, no lie, these boots turn 25 years old, in a little over a month. The only thing I did to help protect them is that I sprayed an entire can of waterproofing spray on them when I got them new. I wish I could simply get them resoled, but it would cost more than a new pair. My feet do get a little wet now, but only due to the cracks in the soles. The pull loops ripped off years ago so I simply cut them off. Don't think I never wore them. I live in Northwest Pennsylvania and if the weather was wet or snowy, they were on my feet. Oddly enough, they never seemed to age and fit like a custom pair of gloves, on my feet. I just asked my wife for another pair, which is why I'm here leaving this review. I asked for the 9" ones as well. But, to be honest, I will be sad to see these ones go. They won't get thrown away that's for sure, but it's definitely time for a new pair. Thank you, Rocky Boots! These should be framed in a Rocky Boots Hall of Fame!
