This style of Avia is my son's favorite! He has gone through 4 different colors and they are becoming for difficult to find. Great if your kid doesn't tie his own shoes yet. They last at least 6 months with really heavy use, which is similar to most shoes nowadays. Comfortable for wide feet or shorter toes.

Runner son loves these shoes

My 6 year old son loves these slip on (fixed laces) shoes by Avia. Got them for a great deal and he started jogging around in them immediately reporting they have good cushion. I can tell they have solid construction, so much so they are a bit stiff at first. However they broke in easily with a few days of wear and look very nice with joggers to school. Son reports they don't slide up and down on heel, and he hasn't had blisters while breaking them in.
