I gave it a overall 5 stars mainly because my mother loves it. It is NOT a big unit. think half scale to the 1980s audio systems. But she hooked it up herself, put it right where she wanted in a small area of her room. the sound quality is really nice. It plays her CDs and albums, all the ones I grew up listening to as a kid, think James Taylor, Carol King, Elton Johns GBYBR. All sound gread, just like they did back then. 4 star on quality, I feel like it could be made out of better wood, but that just me, I had the old school rack Kenwood systems, you know all metal receivers, metal CD 5 disc changer, you know different materials. Other than that a great machine.
