I needed a few tools replaced ladle, turners, etc, mine were so old. Needed in stainless steel. There's many sets to choose from and I looked at what 1 has vs the other that would be useful for me. It's 1 or 2 little things and sets are not my 1st choice. I'd rather get the 2-3 I need at a better quality than a set with stuff I don't want at way less quality. This set has useful extras, it looked good and on sale. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well made and designed each piece actually is! Wow! and every piece is HUGE! The silicone handles feel really secure in my tiny hands. It has scrapers that I'd pay top $ for alone. Those seem to be weighted - very effective. The brush is much better than my old 1s with a finer bristle. There's a slight ergonomic bend in them I appreciate. Every piece I unwrapped had me shouting OMG It's so XXL! (the shears are the best for being XL) eye popping lol. Gave all replaced the heave -ho. Ya, not often anymore we get more than expected and the bar is pretty low. Very very happy.
