About this item

Product details

Help keep your home aquarium water clean with the Vibrant Life Large Power Filter! For use with 10- to 20-gallon freshwater and saltwater aquariums, this powerful filter has a sleek design and fits seamlessly with standard hoods and canopies. It can filter aquariums up to 20 gallons over six times per hour. The impeller and motor assembly are engineered for efficient power usage. Plus, the self-priming, decoupled motor reduces noise for quiet filtration at less than 40 dB. Using the included Vibrant Life Large Filter Cartridge in your easy-to-maintain filter provides your tank with complete, three-stage filtration.

First, during mechanical filtration, the coarse floss helps capture dirt and debris while the filter’s molded, ribbed back helps enhance water contact and improve clarity. Second, high-quality activated carbon within the cartridge helps remove odors, discoloration and impurities during chemical filtration. Third, during biological filtration, the filter’s biological foam provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria that helps remove toxic ammonia and nitrite.

If you have questions, call 1-800-526-0650 for free advice and support. The filter sits 2.83 inches above aquarium and 3.09 inches behind it with a width of 7.75 inches. For best results, change the Vibrant Life Large Filter Cartridge every 2-4 weeks, as the carbon loses effectiveness over time.

Vibrant Life products are the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect set up for a decent amount of fish. We already have a tank, but wanted a bigger one to upgrade. We've been using Vibrant Life products since we began our aquarium journey and they always have quality products. Their tanks are super easy to install, and are always quiet and easy to take care of.

Nice large fish tank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really happy with this Vibrant Life 20-gallon aquarium. It's large enough to create an interesting setup but still fits perfectly indoors without taking over the whole room. The build feels sturdy and well made, and I especially love the filter it came with—quiet, efficient, and keeps the water crystal clear. Overall, it looks great, works well, and was easy to set up. Highly recommend if you want a spacious, reliable aquarium for your home
