I bought the Terror XI Storm primarily for digging fence post holes and clearing some old irrigation ditches that were overgrown. For a 1.1-ton machine, the digging force is seriously impressive. The boom swing is the real star here—it let me dig right up against my barn wall without having to reposition the tracks constantly. It arrived about 10 days after I ordered it, and the delivery driver was kind enough to help me walk it off the trailer. If you're on a small farm and tired of renting equipment, this pays for itself in a few months.

The boom swing is what sold me on this model, and it's been worth every penny for digging footers right next to an existing foundation. It fits through my standard backyard gate with room to spare, which is a lifesaver for residential jobs. The controls are very smooth and didn't take long to master, even for a first-time owner.
