Getting Pricy

I've been buying Ol Roy dog food on and off for a few years now. I'm sure that it's not the most nutritious brand on the market, so I use it just to mix in with other food that I'm feeding my dogs. One thing that I have noticed is that the price has really gone up on this stuff. Not long ago it was about $1.00 a can and now it's $1.32. I definitely wouldn't make this my primary food for my dogs, but as an addition it's ok.

I have a pitbull. He weighs 80 pounds and I don't feed him dry food. I'll feed him canned food and y'all have had this whole canned food on sale for a while now for a dollar a can and boy he loves it so I'll be buying it as long as it's on sale thank you so much.

Affordable Option for Adding Variety

Canned dog food isn't always about replacing regular meals, sometimes it's just adding variety, moisture, or making food more interesting for dogs that get bored with the same routine. This has a fairly soft consistency with enough gravy that I could see people using smaller amounts mixed into dry kibble instead of serving a full portion every time. That may be especially useful in multi-dog households where feeding preferences differ. One thing worth mentioning is value. Products in this category are often chosen because they're budget-friendly while still giving owners an option beyond dry food alone. The beef flavor description may appeal more to shoppers than dogs, so I focus more on texture and practicality. The moisture level seemed consistent with what I'd expect from a gravy-style canned food. I think options like this fit best for owners wanting occasional variety, extra moisture, or a topper, rather than overthinking premium ingredients at a lower price point. Based on first impressions, this felt more like an economical convenience option than a specialty wet food, and that has value for many households.
