A mineral sunscreen my whole family can use

I have pretty sensitive skin, so I'm always nervous trying new sunscreens — especially mineral ones because they can feel thick or irritating. But the Pipette Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 seriously impressed me. It's lightweight, blends in much better than most mineral formulas I've tried, and doesn't leave that heavy, greasy feeling. The biggest win? I've used it on my baby, my toddler, my older kid, and myself with zero irritation on anyone. That's huge for us. It's gentle, fragrance-free but still has a really clean, light scent — not chemical-smelling at all. We wore this during daytime walks and outdoor play and were outside for hours, and I love that it's SPF 50 and water resistant for 80 minutes. It actually feels comfortable on the skin, more like a moisturizer than sunscreen, and it layers nicely without pilling. No burning eyes, no sticky residue, no white ghost look — just smooth protection that makes reapplying easy. This is officially our go-to family sunscreen now. Definitely repurchasing.

Fewer harmful ingredients.

If you want to spray some oily skin shine on to look hot, this product is not for you. If you want better ingredients and superior UV protection, you have found a keeper. Expect for it to take a little extra time to "rub in". You will have milky skin for awhile. I consider it to be a badge of honor. I care enough about my health to insist on the products with proven efficacy. btw, don't forget to reapply often.

Better, but not quite there

I received a bottle of this for free in return for my honest review. This version of their SPF is closer to their non-water resistant formula of a year or two ago. It is a bit thinner and goes on more easily. It has prevented sunburn for myself and my two kids, and it hasn't irritated our sensitive skin. However, it still gives a pretty obvious cast that takes a while to go down. I have very fair skin and it blends more quickly, but for my kids, it takes a lot of rubbing in and waiting. This wouldn't be the worst thing if it didn't also still have the sand-like particles in it. The last version of the SPF I used had so many of these particles (despite shaking every time) that they would plug up the bottle opening and it would be impossible to dispense. This time, only a few show up now and then, but I am not sure why they are coming out at all. For that, the product loses a star.
