I got this for after wisdom teeth surgery, got all 4 removed. And I side sleep every night but I was told to sleep on my back for this.. I was concerned I wasn't going to be able to but, I heard neck pillows can help with that. it makes it to where you don't side sleep and keeps your head elevated enough!!
