We've had a standard 10x10 straight-leg canopy for tailgating for years, but I finally decided to try converting it into a tent for a weekend family trip. I am so glad I went this route instead of buying a massive standalone tent. It completely transformed our setup. ​The Good: ​Insane Headroom: Unlike regular dome tents where you're constantly hunching over, this cube design gives you a full 6 feet of clearance everywhere. You can actually stand up straight to change your clothes, which makes a huge difference. ​Super Fast Setup: Once your canopy frame is up, this inner tent just clips right onto the structure. The hooks and loops feel sturdy, and the whole thing was clipped in and ready to go in less than 5 minutes. ​Tons of Room: We fit a queen air mattress and a twin mattress side by side with plenty of room left over for our gear bags and a walkway. It easily handles 4 adults, or a couple with a few kids. ​Great Airflow: The mesh roof and massive windows let in a ton of breeze. We didn't get that stuffy, humid feeling you usually get in cheaper nylon tents. If you already own a 10x10 pop-up canopy, buying this is a no-brainer. It turned our basic sun shelter into a massive, comfortable cabin tent for a fraction of the price. The khaki color also looks really clean in person. Definitely recommend it.
