Appear to in fact be made in USA (stamped Newberry Knitting Co-made in USAon the cuff). I ordered a size 4 which translates into medium (looked up a GI glove size chart online as these correspond with that) Good warmth for weight, some itch as its wool but its ok. I ordered the brown ones and the bottom of cuff has a thin stitch of black thread at bottom. Same basic premise of glove as OD colored ones Ive had from elsewhere
