THIS IS A GREAT SAUSAGE!!! the flavor is awesome. The smoked favor was done excellently. If you need to use this in recipes it will not lose its flavor. It is coursely ground and a great chew. The casing is not thick and chewy like others I have had. THEY WERE NOT GREASY AT ALL WHEN THEY WERE COOKED. The skin pops when you cook them. I made mine straight from the freezer to the pan. Placed about a cup and a half of water. Let the water cook out. Added about 2 spoons of oil and fried them. THEY CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY BROWN.

juicy and smokey with a nice snap to the casing

i prepared these on the air fryer setting of my counter tip oven and these sausages came out perfect. The casing has plenty of snap and the amount of lean to fat makes a nice juicy sausage. These sausages have a very very heavily smoked flavor so it was impossible to taste any other flavors in the variety I chose.
