This was a gift for my son's birthday. When he opened he immediately commented on how cool the 3D design on the cover is. Then he had the brilliant idea to use it to hold the new Matchbox cars he got. Who says we have to use it for pencils? Right? He seems pleased with it. I can't say how long it will last since my son is rough with his belongings, but it seems sturdy enough.
