Not very heavy pant fabric with corduroy shirt

This is a Christmas gift. So it hasn't been used at the time of this rating. But it seems quality. I wanted a heavier or lined pant for winter. But i didn't read the description. So that's my fault. It would have made more sense, in my opinion for the pants to be corduroy Instead of the shirt. But he'll probably get more use out of the pants since they aren't. They just aren't very heavy.
