Schools around here are always cold, son doesn't like having cold legs and neither do many of his fellow classmates. True to size, thick, soft, and warm. We live on the east coast and these are great for outside play during the winter here. My child is tall and lanky and we've struggled in the past to find winter pants that are long enough but not too loose (he's 7 but wears 5T shorts) and these actually work, thanks to the functioning drawstring. After having him wear one pair for several days, I went back and ordered several more.
