The socks have 0% cotton in them, and made from recycled polyester ( I knew this going in). I know I'll get about a years use from them. The heels will ware through and that will be that. They were a tad bit more expensive than before, but understandably so. The shampoo is good ( pricey ), but such is life.

They're socks. They had no holes. They fit like all the other multiple size socks I have bought. I'm a size nine ad they're snug on the ankle and lower leg, a little loose on the foot. I suppose if I were an size eight they would be perfect on the leg, and if I were a size ten they would be perfect on the foot. Over all, I bought these on price and convenience. They're just like other brands of quality socks. They're thick, warm yet cool at the same time. My feet aren't wet at the end of the day. I haven't used them in the winter but I suspect they will be fine then also. The materials are not constrictive with the elastic and dry quickly after washing. If you have somebody who WILL darn holes as these wear like all the others do, these will easily last five or more years. Being as your foot won't be changing size, buy some extras as I do and put them on the self. The money stored in consumables is better than in the bank. In five years you might make 2¢ in interest. When inflation raises the price of these $1, you will be 98¢ ahead.
