Definitely a waterproof seal.
This is an excellent sealer, but it is very difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I could not use the nozzle it came with; it is so thick it won't go through it. I simply removed the nozzle and squeezed it out of the tube's hole. It goes on very thick and sticks well. Definitely a waterproof seal.
