PYREX IS THE BEST! Durable, high quality.

Pyrex is still the best heat resistant glassware on the market. I had my old measuring cup for decades and it withstood microwaving and boiling with ease. The only reason I has to purchase a new one is because my new puppy jumped up on the table and knocked my Pyrex to the floor. I was so upset, but she's a puppy and I should have watched her more closely. This new measuring cup looks exactly like the previous one I owned. So, the quality is bsolutely the same.

This is the soda-lime glass "pyrex", not the heavy-duty borosilicate "PYREX" that can go from freezer to oven. I use this one as the cup in my coffee maker when I'm using ice tea pods because I am too lazy to make ice tea the normal way. It works fine.
